Everson, WA – A fast night and fun night at Deming Speedway saw Tyler McLeod return to victory lane in the main event for the Speedmart 600 Open division. Derek Holmwood and Nick Evans became back to back winners in the 1200 and Midget class, while Destry Miller and Avery Askvig took top honors in the 600 Restricted and Junior Sprints.

McLeod led every lap of the Speedmart 600 Open, rolling the bottom of the speedway for 25 laps to take the win with Ryley Mayer right on his heels most of the way, with the two even touching bumpers in multiple corners. Mayer settled for his best result of the year in second with Tanner Holm running third. Heat wins went to Tristin Thomas, Jesse Schlotfeldt and Dylan Resch.

It was a vintage Derek Holmwood performance in the Shots 2 Go Espresso 1200 class, as he led all 25 laps of the main event for his second straight win in the class. Holmwood was never seriously challenged out in front of the field, while Clennon Holloway ran second all race while never being threatened. The battle for third was excellent, with the father-son combo of Brock and Tyson Lemley racing each other hard, with Tyson coming out on top. Holmwood and Dakota Drake won the heats.

Nick Evans now has back to back wins in the NW Focus Midgets at Deming Speedway. Starting fifth, Evans worked his way up the field to challenge Jake Munn for the lead, finding room underneath Jae on lap nine to take the lead and the eventual win. Munn collected a career best second, with Shane Smith driving the Brian Rose owned car to third. Heat wins went to Smith and Jesse Munn.

Destry Miller picked up win number one in the Mytrafficman.NET 600 Restricted division. Miller would lead every lap of the main, dicing and slicing in and through slower traffic to score the victory. Levi Hillier wove his way to second and Corbin Ramsey climbed his way up to a third place finish. Miller, Peyton Drake and Ramsey won the heat races.

In the Clean Crawls Junior Sprints, Avery Askvig had an easy run of things, leading all 20 laps of the green to checkered feature for her first win of the year. Clayton Jalakas collected a career best second place with Brooklyn Constance rounding out the podium in third. Knapp and Constance also won the heat races.
