Everson, WA – Racing resumed at Deming Speedway on Friday night after a week off thanks to Mother Nature. When the dust settled on the night, Jeremy Holz, Brock Lemley, Shane Smith, Cooper Anderson and Madi Hoppe stood tall in victory lane.  

It was the first race of the first year for Jeremy Holz in the Speedmart 600 Open class and despite not having a competitive lap in the division this year, he came out and led all 25 laps of the main event with little challenge in taking the victory. Dylan Resch was second and Colin Mackey was third. Jake Trueman, Resch, Joe Constance and Spencer Constance won the four heat races, 

In the Shots 2 Go Espresso 1200 division, Brock Lemley won his fifth feature of the year. Lemley assumed the lead on lap 13 after contact with race leader Seth Hespe resulted in Hespe retiring from the race. Brock would go on to lead the rest of the way, taking the win but apologizing post race for the on track accident in victory lane. Dakota Drake and Alex Lewis were second and third. The heat winners were Lewis, Hespe and Drake. 

Shane Smith now owns back to back wins in the NW Focus Midget division. Starting sixth, Smith passed race leader Jake Munn on lap 10 and kept eventual runner up Jeff Westergard at bay over the final ten laps to take his second win in a row. Westergard and Munn rounded out the podium. Westergard and Ashley Thompson were the heat race winners. 

In the Mytrafficman.NET 600 Restricted class, Cooper Anderson went wire to wire out front of the field for a dominating feature win. Zoey Tupper ran second and Colton Knapp was third. Heat race wins went to Austin Held, Caleb Gately, Hunter Cook and Avery Askvig. 

Madi Hoppe pulled off the rare clean sweep of the night in the Capstone Plastering JR Sprints. After setting quick time and winning her heat race, Hoppe passed race leader Hudson Johnson on a lap 10 restart for the lead and eventual win. Madi was also hard charger on the main event as she completed the clean sweep. Kole Campbell and Johnson rounded out the podium. James Hayashi won the other heat race.
