Everson, WA – Week number three at Deming Speedway saw four new drivers win their first features of the season. All four drivers led every lap of their main events on Pacific Coast Welding and Marine / Walton Beverage night at the track. 

The Speedmart 600 class was a shootout up front. In the early stages of the feature, it was Levi Hillier establishing a lead while a furious battle began for second. Multiple drivers battled with Colin Mackey eventually clearing Brody Ferguson for second, with Jared Peterson following suit shortly after. Mackey set sail trying to run down Levi, but Hillier turned away Mackey’s last lap move to score the win. Colin settled for second with Peterson taking third. Rachel Westmoreland, Mackey, Reese Wickard and Dylan Resch took home heat race wins. 

In the Shots 2 Go Espresso 1200 division, a rejuvenated Nat eVaughn drove to his first win of the year by leading every lap of the main with little challenge. Jacob Buckenmeyer and Derek Holmwood finished out the top three, while heat races were won by Jaden Thomas, Alex Lewis, Steven Hendrickson and Holmwood.  

Sawyer Baxter became the third winner in as many weeks for the Doyle Guffie’s Rallye Auto Sales 600 Restricted class. Following Baxter to the win were Jayce Medcalf in second and Chloe Danielson in third. Heat wins went to McKenna Morgan, Dustin Ramsey, Medcalf and Colton Knapp. 

Madi Hoppe went wire to wire for her first win of the season in the Capstone Plastering JR Sprints. Hoppe held off Owen Hill and Hudson Johnson to take home the victory, Hill and Johnson won heat races, as did Kayson Sargent and Kole Campbell.
