Crum Makes History on Championship Night

Everson, WA – Chance Crum became the first ever driver to win the SpeedMart 600’s, Shots 2 Go Espresso 1200’s, and Wicked Energy Gum Northwest Focus Midget races in one night. In the SpeedMart 600 division Chance held off the season champion Jared Peterson when Chance lost the lead to Jared Peterson in the middle of the race in lapped traffic but a caution gave him the lead back. At the end of the race he had to fend off a few challenges from Jared. Your top 5 of the night was Chance Crum, Jared Peterson, Dakota Drake, Ryley Mayer, and Kyle Johnson. In the Shots 2 Go Espresso 1200’s Chance Crum matched what his car owner Tyson Cross did on Friday night by leading the last 6 laps and picking up the win followed by Jared Peterson, Steven Hendrickson, Alex Lewis and Derek Holmwood. Picking up the championship in the 1200’s was the Cross Motorsports 09 driven by both Tyson Cross and Chance Crum this year. In the Wicked Energy Gum Northwest Focus Midgets Chance Crum driving the Thompson Motorsports 41 led the last 27 laps and held off a hard charging Jared Peterson to secure the track championship, followed by Shane Smith, Nick Evans, and Colton Heath. In the MyTrafficMan.net 600 restricted Levi Klatt led all 30 laps and finished off the track chamoionship followed by a late charging Parker Hadlock, Jesson Jacobson, Jayden Whitney, and Malachi Gemmer. In the Clean Crawls Jr Sprints Levi Kuntz led all 25 laps to pick up the win followed by Kane Van Sickle, season champion Levi Hillier, Peyton Drake, and Cruz Kentch.
