Everson, WA – Coors Light & Wilson’s Furniture Night at the races brought 90 cars out to contest five divisions of action at Deming Speedway on Friday. When the dust settled, Colin Mackey, Kyle Mitchell, Shane Smith, Colton Knapp and Lennen Peeters took home the top honors as feature winners.

The front of the field once again carved through traffic at Deming Speedway in the Speedmart 600 main event. Colin Mackey led the charge, leading all 25 laps while shooting around, under and by the slower cars in taking yet another win. Behind him, Jared Peterson similarly passed slower cars to take second with Levi Hillier showing excellent maneuverability in working his way to a third place finish.

The Shots 2 Go Espresso 1200 main event quickly turned into the Kyle Mitchell show. Mitchell put on another strong showing, leading all twenty five laps of the main event. Seth Hespe closed late on Mitchell, but Mitchell controlled the pace the whole way through to claim the win over Hespe and Derek Holmwood.

Shane Smith rolled to victory lane for the second straight week in the NW Focus Midgets. Things got tight for Smith at the mid point of the race as Alex Peck closed hard in lapped traffic, but once he passed the slower cars, Smith extended his advantage to secure the win. Peck was second and Jeff Westergard took third.

It was another dominant performance by Colton Knapp in the Doyle Guffie’s Rallye Auto Sales 600 restricted class. Knapp won by 3.635 seconds and was never seriously challenged, even in heavy traffic. Chloe Danielson raced forward to second place while McKenna Morgan battled her way into third.

Lennen Peeters took advantage of the zero invert to go wire to wire for her first Capstone Plastering JR Sprint of the season. Lennen spent most of the main with a straightaway lead, finishing ahead of Kole Campbell in second and Savanna Hillier in third.
